We picked up guests from Lower Saxony there. The administrative processes related to landing and departure were very friendly, reliable and smooth. Very pleasant: there is a beer garden with small, tasty dishes at fair prices right on the airfield. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. If you like the operation at such an airport, you can watch the takeoffs and landings of glider pilots from the beer garden. That's fun!

The airfield is actually optimally located in the north of Munich and welcomes guests with a charming and cozy beer garden, but the lack of access to public transport, excessive landing and parking fees and limited access (ppr) do not give a better rating.

The beer garden is quite good, Obatzder was very tasty. But what some guests allow themselves in spite of the obligation to wear a mask and that is then still puked and shouted out loud if you point them out does not work at all.
